Introducing the newest star of the Today Show.....................GRACE HAYES! Ok, main star may be a BIT strong, but I was totally on air waving behind Matt Lauer's bald head. And as you can see from the pictures with Matt and Merrideth Veiria it has been a VERY happy birthday. I had a sign that said, "Today I am sweet 16!" and I guess it was enough to make the biggest thing since I don't know....Britany Spears!
So now we are on our way out the door for a day of shopping and then to the oh so fabulous resturant "Serendipity" AND THEN TO THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! I would love to stay and type all about the wonders of NY and 5th Ave., but I would love more to go see it.

Gracie. That is so SWEET. I love Matt Lauer haha. Anyway, I'm wishing you a very happy birthday, mate!!! I hope (and it sounds like you are) you're having the birthday of a limetime!

I didn't tape it. Don't kill me though because George and Tanya recorded the whole thing. I found this out today after I spent a large portion of yesterday freaking out that I didn't tape it and calling NBC to figure out how to get a copy and making George scour the entire internet trying to find it there. Apparently NBC will get back to me on Tuesday. Some flap about the holiday making them slow or something.
Anyway, I'm sooooo sorry but even more relieved and happy that someone else got it (phew!) and I'm delighted that you guys are having so much fun. The pictures are adorable. They're of Gracie. How could they be otherwise?
